When FMK and I moved to New York we had one weekend to find an apartment in the city before we would be arriving two weeks later to move in. It was a stressful process, but we found our home away from home in the Upper West Side that we have come to love (seen here). The tree lined streets, easy access to the park and neighborhood feel made for the perfect transitional neighborhood from Texas.

Fast forward two years later, FMK is graduating from Columbia Business School and we are both ready to explore a new neighborhood. This time around, we have the advantage of knowing the city better and what all the different neighborboods have to offer. I am happy to report we found an apartment we love in a neighborbood we can’t wait to call home! I promise to share more after we move (May 1st), but for now, here are a few inspirational pictures I have been pinning.

I won’t be doing much shopping for the new apartment, but I do plan on updating the look and feel of our current things with new wall colors and maybe even a few DIY projects.
