This is my typical winter travel outfit because it is just so comfortable and practical. You last saw me traveling in this cape here with a white blouse and jeans so I decided to switch it up and go a little more comfortable in leggings and a soft blouse. (I was still nursing in the last outfit so the button up blouse was key.)
My work trip to Charleston got cancelled yesterday due to the weather on the east coast, but we are rescheduled for late February so we all have to wait for more beautiful Charleston pictures. But, I am sure you will be seeing another variation of this outfit when I head to New York in two weeks! What is your go-to travel attire?

I am loving loafers in pops of color this spring (last seen here). This pair is from the Paris brand Bobbies. They are handmade in Portugal and incredibly comfortable. I am kind of obsessed!
Never underestimate the power of a crisp white blouse. This is a wardrobe essential that is worth investing in a little higher quality that will hold up through the years because it’s not ever going to go out of style.

I even reconnected with my childhood friend, Kate, who is also now my photographer. And our youngest, Drew, was just baptized in the same church that Fred was baptized in. For me, it is so important that I get out of the house during the day. Even if it is just to get a cup of coffee or run a quick errand. Sometimes it is 3:00pm and Knox is waking up from his nap and I realize that I am still in my pj’s! It is days like this I need to thrown on a presentable outfit, grab the boys, and head out the door… for my sanity. Luckily, I have been blessed with two really good babies who sleep and eat pretty well. In fact, I think they enjoy our little outings as much as I do. (I keep Andrew in his car seat that attaches to his stroller and we have a car seat blanket that hangs over the top to protect him from any germs, if we are in a public place. Of course, it is so important to be smart about where you take a newborn.)
