We’re excited to bring you the first healthy dinner meal plan of our September wellness and productivity newsletter series! Note: All of these recipes can be made for Whole30 with minor adjustments. We hope you enjoy these delicious dinner recipes and diving into healthy eating habits this fall!
Monday: Crock-Pot Chicken Tacos – We love this family favorite from The Blonde Pantry! This simple recipe can be made in a Crock-Pot or in the oven and is Whole30 if you eliminate the tortillas and go for lettuce wraps or a salad bowl instead.
Tuesday: Smart in the Kitchen’s Weeknight Chili – When it comes to meal planning, Marcia Smart of Smart in the Kitchen is our guru! We love this weeknight chili recipe that can be made with beef or turkey and is perfect for this rainy weather we’ve been having in Houston! It’s Whole30 if you take out the beans.
Wednesday: One Skillet Crispy Chicken Thighs with Harissa – If you haven’t checked out Bon Appétit’s “Healthyish” website yet, you need to! They provide delicious recipes that are healthy but still simple and not over the top (our kind of recipes!). These one skillet crispy chicken thighs require minimal clean up, and they’re Whole30!
Thursday: Smart in the Kitchen’s Simple Roasted Salmon – This easy salmon recipe from Smart in the Kitchen is a crowd pleaser and super simple. It’s Whole30 approved without the white wine! Marcia recommends pairing it with these simple roasted potatoes from Bon Appétit. If your kiddos aren’t quite into fish just yet, serve left over crispy chicken thighs from Wednesday with the potatoes.
Friday: Crock-Pot Turkey Bolognese with Zoodles – Yum! Nothing is more comforting on a Friday evening at home with a bowl of bolognese. You and your little ones won’t even miss the pasta!
For weekday lunches, don’t miss these easy kid-friendly recipes that are also great for adults! We also love this detox smoothie for a healthy breakfast or afternoon snack.
