This week was a long one. Knox and I took a full week to kick our cold and it really took it out of me. He has been waking up in the night with his stuffy nose and cough and the lack of sleep & my own shot immune system left me tired and unproductive, for the most part, during the day. I am ready to use the weekend to recover on sleep (here’s to taking a nap when Knox goes down) and to get mentally ready to tackle my to-do list on Monday. In the meantime, here are some noteworthy links + cravings…
– I have been eying this dress + the whole travel collection from Madewell. (20% off with code ‘SUNNY’)
– Girl Crush: If you don’t follow Venz Edits, you should. Her style is so unique and elevated, she can make ASOS look like couture (and often does).
– I missed the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic this year (see last year’s outfit here), but this recap from Hallie is too good to miss.
– 5 Amazing Super Foods for your Hair: Let’s face it, I’ll try anything right now. I am in the major hair slumps that come from hair loss post baby. Not fun, but my little angel is totally worth every strand on the floor (so I can’t complain too much).
– I might need to invite a few friends over this weekend for an excuse to make Alicia’s Moscow Mule recipe (possibly my favorite summer drink).
– J.Crew is offering 30% off their swim. They have the BEST swim suits, in my opinion, and I always wait until they go on sale… add to cart!
– If you live in NYC, today is the last collaboration in celebration of Shake Shack’s anniversary, if you don’t mind a line.
– Interesting thoughts on the ‘dangerous idea’ of happiness in Western society.
– Knox has outgrown most of his clothes, time to shop for 9-12 months (crazy, right?!). I love Old Navy + Baby Gap for everyday summer clothes. Where do you shop for your littles? I would love some new recs.
– My obsession with interiors lately has me constantly stalking One King’s Lane (it’s dangerous) + Pinterest (be sure to follow along!).
– Speaking of home decor, Anthropologie is offering 20% off all home!
I also love Carters and Ralph Lauren for baby boy clothes. The RL website usually has pretty good sales and is currently offering free shipping on all orders.
I never mind a line — especially when it’s for Shake Shake!
Thanks for the link love, girlfriend. Lovely round-up of reads, here! Hope you have an awesome weekend. 🙂
That dress is fabulous! I say got for it!!

It looks like you are from the south the way you dress your son 🙂 I have three so I like to think that I know where to shop after I had my third. One of my favorite lines for boys is a home show called Alice Kathleen. My sister lives in Birmingham and used to work for them. Now she just hosts a show. Let me know if you are interested. She could help you over the phone 🙂 good luck and happy shopping. I have come to love shopping for my boys as much as myself.
