Now that I am working from home sometimes I just miss my old work wardrobe! (Even though when I had a corporate job I would have killed to work in pj’s some days!) This skirt is literally almost 10 years old, not to age myself. My first job out of college was an Assistant Buyer at Neiman Marcus and one of my favorite vendors was Akris Punto. I purchased this skirt on major sale + my employee discount, and I have worn it ever since! It just goes to show that some pieces are worth the investment.
A classic pencil skirt, of course, is easily paired with more buttoned-up pieces for a conservative ‘office’ look, but working in the fashion industry I could get away with this casual, edgy version.

The Removable Hooded Moto Jacket fits perfectly with the skirt. I’d wear this ensemble to work, and switch the skirt with a pair of jeans for a great weekend look. Happy Thursday!
Timeless and chic! LOVE that pencil skirt!
