I scored this blush Topshop vest at the Nordstrom Anniversary sale and I was so excited to purchase something that I could start wearing today!  It is a perfect transition piece that will carry me into Houston winters with a little more layering.  Not to mention it is perfect for minimizing my growing bump!  I am 16 weeks pregnant now and certainly showing faster than I did with Knox.  I was looking back on a bump pic from when I was 22 weeks with him and it looks the same as I do now at only 16 weeks with number two.  I am certainly not complaining though, it is fun to get to the stage where you actually look pregnant (and not just like you had a big lunch. ha!)

I wore this outfit last week when I hosted a Houston Blogger event at the Kendra Scott store in Rice Village.  Have you seen their amazing new collection?  I LOVE how Kendra keeps reinventing herself with each new delivery.  You would never guess some of the styles were hers a few years ago.  I LOVE this Coby necklace in rose gold. In fact, I love all her rose gold!

While I was at the event, I also scored this mini drusy ring in rose gold and a new cuff to add to my stack.  They both go great with the three stone ring I have sported non-stop this summer!

This post makes me sound like a big shopper, but surprisingly I am really not.  Fortunately, a lot of perks come with my job, and I found myself with a nice gift card to Nordstrom. I decided to splurge on a pair of Designer sunglasses for myself.  I hadn’t done this since my days working as an Assistant Buyer at Neiman Marcus when I could get an amazing discount on everything.  Since I lost all the pairs I purchased back then, I told myself no more expensive sunglasses!  But now that I am a responsible mom and all (ahem), I decided to give it another try. Wish me luck!
