I love finding bump friendly styles that aren’t actually maternity. It helps with your post baby wardrobe because you haven’t spent money on things you can’t wear again. Take this beautiful white lace trim, drop waist number (currently 40% off!), for example. It is a great summer staple that will work now to next summer!

One of my favorite things about summer in Texas is how late it stays light. Kate and I shot these pictures after the kiddos bedtime and we caught the most beautiful sunset!
As you can see, the bump is starting to make a more obvious appearance. I am now 18 weeks and looking and feeling pregnant. I enjoy getting to the point where people aren’t afraid to comment on your bump. I can remember riding the subway in NYC when I was pregnant with Knox and over hearing two guys debating on whether or not to offer me their seat because they couldn’t decide if I was pregnant or not. (The correct answer would have been to always offer a lady your seat, pregnant or not. ๐ )

I love this white dress, you can hardly see your baby bump!! I can’t believe that people would have to decided whether or not to give up their subway seat… you are right, if the thought crosses your mind that you should do it then always give up your seat! Ha, people are goofy sometimes!
