It was snowing outside on Saturday and I was feeling a little under the weather so I decided to have an impromptu photoshoot right here in our living room. FMK was just as excited as I was (as in I talked him in to taking pictures during a bowl game commercial break.)
This outfit should be an ad for gilt.com because literally, everything I am wearing was purchased on the site. I love that I can score designer clothing in my budget – the clothes last longer, and I am excited to pull them back out next season.

I’m starting to realize quality over fast-trends is a sure thing. I love Gilt, but only have 1-2 items from them! Happy New Year, Caroline!

Love the look and the view!
Your outfit and photos are adorable! I made a shopping rule last year that for each new purchase, I had to be able to think of at least 3 ways to incorporate it into my closet. If I can’t, I don’t buy…period. It’s made a huge difference to my wardrobe (and wallet!).

Such a great rule, I do the same thing! Happy new year!

I love your view!!! 🙂
I love the navy and black together! One of my new year’s resolutions is to start buying more investment pieces. There is nothing like finding a great piece that will last for years to come!
Love that blouse and it matches the boots perfectly. Happy New Year!
