While we are bracing for Tropical Storm Harvey in Houston, I am dreaming of being back in the cool, crisp Colorado weather.

I bought this sweater during the Nordstrom sale, and it is already getting a lot of wear, even during the summer in Houston. My office is always freezing (of course, it is the coldest room in the house) so I find myself constantly reaching for extra layers! I wish you could feel how soft it is through the computer, but it feels like I get to wear my robe all day while still looking cute. I also packed it on my recent jaunt to Colorado and wore it on the airplane and around town. It was a bit of an investment to me for a cardigan, but I had just finished cleaning out my closet and felt so frustrated moving all my sweaters to the sale or donate piles because they looked old and dingy after just one or two seasons. After that, I decided it was time to invest in quality sweaters that I will pull out again and again, season after season.

Love that sweater. Like you, I need to invest in some better sweaters that you can wear year after year.
We will be saving money in the long run! 😉
“Strom”?
This is why I shouldn’t be publishing blog post from my iphone while running pre-storm errands! Thank you for pointing out!
I love the sweater! Looks so comfy.
I do keep laughing at the blog post title… do you mean Storm? Not Strom? I keep wondering who Strom is?
Yes, storm! I am running around getting gas, water, batteries, etc. to prepare for the hurricane predicted to hit the Texas coast tomorrow… I obviously shouldn’t be multi- tasking because I am not very good at it!
Your cardigan is fantastic, this is such a lovely, casual combo.
