Texas women have a certain reputation when it comes to fashion. I know this first hand from my time working in the buying offices at both Neiman Marcus and Gilt Groupe. For example, we would send all the color to Texas (and Florida). And it would sell. Working in fashion (known for their all black uniform) and then living in NYC, my closet started to look the exact opposite of the Texas stereotype and has become pretty neutral over the years. It makes for easy dressing and it let’s me invest in pieces that I know will outlive the current season’s fast fashion. But sometimes a girl just needs to pair a hot pink dress with a turquoise necklace on a summer night because it is colorful and fun and very Texas. And there certainly isn’t anything wrong with that. 😉

I love colour and I love your outfit. I don’t know if you met to Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, a spanish designer who loves colour and crazy fantasy in her clothes. Really, wake up in the morning would be easier with this acttitude and colours
