I have been home with Knox for two months now and I am starting to miss ‘getting dressed’ in the morning. At first it was a welcome change to stay in my pi’s until 2:00pm, but lately I find myself wishing I had a reason to wear something other than a button up shirt (easy for nursing) and boyfriend jeans. So just for fun, I decided to put on what I would be wearing to a vendor meeting and / or an office holiday party.
Sometimes when I am walking out the door all dressed up (pushing Knox’s stroller with nowhere to go), I wonder what my doorman must be thinking.

That blouse is a dead ringer for an Equipment one! You look so lovely. I sometimes dress up to the nines when working from home – it’s necessary for breaking out of my pajamas and bare feet rut.
Glad to know I am not crazy! 😉
I have a similar Gap coat in black and have loved it. You look amazing!

I love that skirt, so classy! I’ll have to watch Hautelook for Louboutins in the future!

Definitely one of my best Gilt purchases!
You look so pretty! The shoes are amazing! I totally know how you are feeling as I’ve been home with my 2 month old as well and experiencing the 2pm put some makeup on and change out of the pj’s dilemma. It’s hard to keep up a style blog with maternity leave… but some day we just have to get dressed for us! 🙂 You and Lynzy from Sparkling Footsteps keep me motivated to blog! Congrats on your beautiful little boy!
