I am teaming up with asos each month to bring to you my current maternity style. (I am actually only 19 weeks now, just one week shy of 5 months, but that didn’t sounds as good for the post title.) 😉
Maternity style use to be an oxymoron since it didn’t really exists, but today, we are lucky to have a young, trendy company like asos bringing us maternity styles that are both on trend and affordable.
I instantly fell in love with this dress for the playful black and white floral print. (It reminds me of this Prada print.) At this stage of my pregnancy, I am still opting for layered blazers to hide my bulge (as seen here) or flowy dresses like this one (and this one). I am afraid that I don’t look pregnant enough to pull off the bodycon look just yet.
You all know by now my firm belief that a statement necklace and a killer pair of shoes can make any outfit look more expensive than it is. I think this little trick will be especially important when it comes to maternity clothes.
Y’all are going to think I am crazy, but I promise I got so many compliments when I wore this dress and when I told people it was maternity they were surprised. I even had a girl tell me she still might order it anyway. Just saying incase you aren’t preggers and like it as much as I did.
outfit details: dress: c/o asos // shoes: christian louboutin (also love these) // clutch: balenciaga (similar) // necklaces: Amrita Singh, c/o baublebar monogram, initial

I sometimes wear maternity clothes even though I’m not pregnant! Love the print on this dress.
You look fantastic – I love this dress. Too cute! I’m not pregnant, but I kinda want it! LoL

Go for it! I’ll never tell. 😉
This dress is so cute – I would totally wear it regardless of it being maternity wear!
girl, you are looking AMAZING!
Thanks love! I hope you had a great birthday weekend! Sad I couldn’t celebrate with you.
I actually fell in love with this target maternity maxi dress and I seriously considered just going with it (I’m farr from pregnant)!
Your little bump is the cutest 🙂
Go for it! Noone will ever know the difference. 😉
This dress looks so comfy and flattering for your growing bump! I wish I had picked up a few stylish maternity options instead of LIVING in leggings while I was pregnant.

Maternity dressing is SO HARD! I just had my baby 3 weeks ago and as much as I’m loving rediscovering all my old closet favs, maternity options are still pretty much what I’m reaching for at this point in the game – they’re just so comfortable! Some Old Navy stores have a pretty decent – albeit small – maternity selection of maxi dresses that were my go to these last couple months.
Congrats!

I love that dress-such a fun print! How long are you going to rock heels for? 🙂 It will be interesting to see at the 9 month mark;)

I’m going to hold out as long as possible for short periods of time, but I am sure at the 9 month mark it will be flats. 😉
I love this dress! I would wear it pregnant and on a daily basis!
You are looking great! Can’t wait to see what else you pick out to wear!

You look adorable. A beautiful and very stylish mommy to be
Agreed! ASOS maternity clothes are the BEST!
Such a cute look!
I am just about as far along as you and I have a pretty formal wedding to attend at the beginning of August. I am clueless at this point because I see very little maternity that is on the formal side. Would love to see some ideas for more formal maternity.
The dress is so beautiful and it looks amazing on you! Congratulations to you!
