Sometimes it is the little things that make the biggest statement. When it comes to interior design (and fashion), I believe it is these little things, that so often get overlooked, that are the most important.  Lately, I have obsessed over lighting.  I want to find unique lighting for all the rooms in our future home, but I want to start with the kitchen.  I am loving pendants above an island, but I am having trouble deciding on a particular style and metal.  Here are a few of my current favorites that I am trying to narrow down…

I love the contrast of brass fixtures in a white and grey kitchen!

All the metal and white in this kitchen keep the look clean and modern.

I am leaning toward multiple pendants, but this single oversized globe really makes a statement.

This style might be a little too traditional paired with all my antiques and blue and white.  I think I might need a more modern or industrial fixture for a fun contrast.
