On my recent trip to Charleston, we spent a day on Sullivan’s Island. It was my first time to venture across the bridge and it was so worth it! We met at the adorable Obstinate Daughter for a cup of coffee before heading to the beach. The beach reminded me of our summers in Long Island with the wooden walkways, tall beach grass and lighthouses. It was so picturesque!
After some time by the water, we headed to the popular Poe’s Tavern for some food and rose. I wore this off the shoulder maxi dress because it matched the beautiful beaches. I am loving the off shoulder trend and I can never own enough maxi dresses for summer.

I love Sullivan’s Island! We named our daughter Sullivan (“Sully”) and I have to think that maybe the name has always been stuck in the back of my head from summers we would spend there with family. I didn’t end up making it there during the Southern C Summit, but the Obstinate Daughter is on my list for our next visit!

Love the dress! Sullivan’s is one of our favorite spots!! Glad you enjoyed.
I do think this is the loveliest post I’ve seen from you thus far, Caroline. It’s a picturesque spot indeed 🙂 and your dress. So lovely. Flowy and swishy and feminine xo
