I love getting dressed up for holiday parties because I can add a little extra glam to my look without feeling overdone. It seems like there are even more holiday parties than usual this year, so I wanted to share my go-to holiday beauty regimen with you. It’s a little more in depth than my typical daily makeup, but it still only takes me under an hour from start to finish.

While I love putting a little more effort into my look this time of year, the extra hair styling and makeup means I have to give my skin and hair extra TLC in between festivities! When I heard about Pantene’s new hair rescue product line from Brazil, it could not have come at a better time.

The Perfect Blowout 

As you may have noticed, I recently cut and colored my hair for the season. It’s a blunt cut and shorter than I’m used to, so I’m still getting the hang of styling it! For a holiday party, I love either blowing it out sleek or adding a bit of curl with my hair wand. With my color treatment and using hot tools on repeat this time of year, I have to be sure I’m using extra nourishing products to prevent my hair from looking damaged (AKA bad hair days!). I was super excited when Pantene offered to let me test their new Intense Rescue Shots, an at home rescue treatment imported from Brazil. It’s their most potent hair repair product yet and comes in a single dose-tube containing a blend of Pro-Vitamin B5 and strengthening lipids. You simply use it in place of your normal conditioner and leave it in for 30 seconds. Be sure to apply the Intense Rescue Shots from root to tip!  After testing it out, I can tell you that this magical Brazilian formula makes a difference even after just one use — it’s basically like a salon visit in between your actual hair appointments! A Bold Lip

I normally wear a subtle lip color when I’m going out, but during the holidays, I love a bold lip! I gravitate towards a deep red hue that makes any outfit feel more dressed up — even denim and a top!

Glam Eyes

For evening holiday events, I love wearing a bolder eye than usual with a liquid liner and super full mascara. I also love using a shimmer eye shadow that feels festive and goes with my outfit for the evening (likely something with sequin or a bit of sparkle!).

Festively Polished Nails

I’ve started gravitating towards a clear polish or buff nail during the year because I hate chipped polish and it’s so much easier to maintain. When December rolls around though, I love wearing festive nail polish like a bright red or deep purple hue. It’s amazing how a fresh polish application can make you feel totally pulled together and holiday party-ready!
