With the Grammys approaching this weekend and awards season in full swing, I started thinking of my own life’s red carpet beauty moments. To me, there is something really fun and exciting about special occasions. When I know a moment won’t come around as often as I may like, I do my best to make the most of the time and to truly treasure it.

As parents of a 3-month-old, date nights have become (a rare and) special occasion for FMK and me. When we get the opportunity to have a night as just the two of us, I want it to be perfect. For me, it starts with getting dressed up for my man. (Although to be completely honest, it is probably more fun for me and FMK could really care less what I am wearing. That’s one of the many things I love about him.)

There are 3 things I always reach for when I want to feel pretty: a statement necklace, high heels and a bold lip stick.  But, before I reach for the lipstick tube, I make sure my smile is ready to be in the spotlight.  I use 3D White Luxe Whitestrips Professional Effects to achieve a white smile that will sparkle next to any shade of lipstick.
