This weekend my husband and I stayed in the city and didn’t have a single obligation. It was a wonderful feeling being able to get up when we wanted, wander aimlessly through our neighborhood, and catch up on all the little things that had fallen through the cracks (like cleaning the apartment!).
Saturday night, we went on a “date” to one of our favorite little spots in NoHo, Bianca , where my hubby snapped these photos. Bianca is a cute little Italian restaurant with great wine and delicious food at an affordable price. Funny enough, I Googled the review while writing this post and found out it is owned by the same person who owns Celeste , our go-to neighborhood restaurant. So, we could have walked around the block for basically the same thing, but oh well, a change in scenery is always nice!
But, I digress… this is a fashion blog after all! You can’t see my keen attention to detail (eh hum) in the photos, but the buttons on the blouse are pearls so, I stuck with the pearl theme for my jewelry and bobby pin, too. The earrings were my Something New on our wedding day, and I always feel special when I wear them.
Hi Caroline,
Your outfits are fabulous! Now I’m off to try a necklace as a bracelet. I haven’t done that trick in ages! Nicely done. 🙂 Kiki
Thank you, Kiki! Let me know how the “bracelet” turns out!

Hey,
Just wanted you to know I have really enjoyed your blogs!! You have inspired me to revamp my wardrobe 🙂 I am very much a polka dot kind of girl and have tucked them in the back of my closet due to not seeing much around lately :/ But I can not wait to pull out one and dress it up as you have! So thanks and keep the blogs coming :))
Thank you Jessica! I hope you pull out all your poke-a-dots – I think they are always in style!
