After a very merry Christmas with both our families, we made it back to Houston where we will ring in the New Year. Β Our NYE plans aren’t what they use to be, butΒ I couldn’t be more okay with that. Β We are throwing together a low-key,Β little dinner party + cocktails with a few friends. Β Although it isn’t much of a reason to dress up, I have waited for an excuse to wear this gold number ever since I scored it at David’s sale earlier this month. Β I also grabbed a plan B at Kate SpadeΒ during the after Christmas sale for when the practical side of me takes over and decides to toast to 2014 in jeans and a (sequins) sweater… because if I am really honest that sounds pretty great, too!
