I can’t believe I am 30 weeks pregnant! This week always feels like such a milestone to me, only 7 more weeks until a full term pregnancy (the goal this go round). This pregnancy has literally flown by and I am now in full on panic mode! For those of you that have been following along for a while, you will remember Knox surprising us when my water broke at 34 weeks. As you can imagine, I am praying this baby cooks a little longer, but hoping to be ready just in case in just four short weeks. In case anyone is wondering, I haven’t done a single thing to get ready for this baby! (Gasp!) I guess I was just thinking another baby boy, I got this. But it’s time to get busy on this boys’ nursery and get to organizing all Knox’s old things so I can see what all we need.
Oh, and about this dress.
I actually ordered this dress to pack for NYFW, but it didn’t arrive in time to make it into my suitcase. It worked out for the better though because once I saw it in person, it definitely has a more wintery feel than I originally imagined. Now that it is officially November, I thought I could finally bring it out. ๐ It isn’t maternity, but the swing a-line fit flows over my bump and I will be able to continue enjoying it next year, as well.
I love blues for the winter. It is a less expected color than other jewel tones like green and burgundy, but it is just as rich and beautiful!

Wow!!! You’re almost at the end of your pregnancy and still looking as stylish and elegant as ever!! I’m absolutely loving this dress, the pattern is very unique and somewhat retro-ish! ๐

I love blues as well in the winter! I usually stick to darker hues but I have noticed an icey, wintery blue around and I love that too! Good for you rocking the sky high heels! When I was pregnant with my boys there was no way I could wear heels, my poor feet swelled so badly and the swelling didn’t go away until they were born. xx http://www.celebratingthislife.ca
You look great, and the dress is nice too.

I love that dress! I’m a sucker for a good a-line shift dress — I practically live in them over the holidays because they have a bit more warmth (hello, long sleeves!) and look fabulous with tights and a cute bootie/pump.
Oh, and don’t think of your current state as being “unprepared” for baby #2! Think of it as being more confident and skilled! You got this.
Happy & healthy last few weeks…

ha ha! Thanks for the encouragement! ๐
Please share with us what you decide to do with the nursery. I am 25 weeks pregnant with my second boy and haven’t done anything either! I know you’ll plan something great!
We finally have it as a WIP! I will definitely share more as we start making some progress! ๐
Ok so I’m a little late with this but this dress us adorable on you! The color is amazing! And you have my standing ovation for walking (or just standing!) in those heels; 30 wks pregnant no less! BRAVO! I love your blog & am looking forward to many post-baby posts! Lol! Congratulations!
