I attended my first New York baseball game this past weekend at Citi Field.  The Mets hosted the Yankees for the Great American Pastime on July 4th weekend.

I wore a navy and white stripe shirt to support the Yankees (although the stripes ran in the wrong direction) and topped it off with my favorite new vest.  I am slightly obsessed with this vest so I am warning you now that you will be seeing a lot of it in the future. 🙂

Styling Tip: When attending sporting events, I like to support my favorite team by wearing their colors, but still showing my personal style.  You don’t need to wear the team’s t-shirt to show your spirit.  Instead, find something in your closet that you love in the right color and keep your outfit casual.
