Last weekend, FMK and I set sail with a friend of ours who just launch his NYC based sailing charter company, Narwhal Yacht. We relaxed on the classic ocean-going sailboat while taking in all the local sites and soaking up some vitamin D. If you live in NYC or have any plans to visit this summer, I highly recommend you spend an afternoon on the Hudson.
Details:
– $125 per person
– 4 hour sailing cruise on New York Harbor (wherever you want to go)
– A personal experience (maximum 6 passengers)
– Meal, snacks, ice, waters, and soft drinks provided
– BYO beer, wine, or liquor
– Manhattan pick-up and drop-off at Pier 25 (3 blocks from the Franklin St. stop on the 1 train)
I have received a lot of emails from readers asking for suggestions of things to do when they visit the city. I hope to post more unique recommendations, such as this, on CITC. Feel free to post reviews in the comment section below.
Lastly, the winner of Sorrelli’s Tweets for Treats giveaway is Allison @intheQC! Congratulations!
Cute outfit and great recommendation! Thank you!
