I was able to combine a work trip with some fun this weekend in New York City. After a few morning meetings, FMK met me on Friday afternoon for our friend’s rehearsal dinner. I fell in love with this dress after seeing it online so I went to two different stores to try it on over my bump, but I didn’t have any luck finding it. I decided to take the risk and ordered the small online. It was meant to be! The forgiving shift silhouette fit my bump perfect (for now) and in that moment I had a new favorite dress.
Although I like to step out of my comfort zone at times, I am naturally drawn to feminine styles. The lace details, sheer top and preppy collar are a match made in girly heaven! But, if you aren’t sold yet… We were staying at the SoHo Grand and as we were walking back into the lobby a girl stopped me and told me she loved my dress. She said she worked for Fendi and my dress looked very Fendi! Umm, I’ll take it (at a fraction of the cost)!
