Last weekend we headed down to SoHo to meet some friends for brunch.  It was one of those perfect Saturdays where we didn’t have anywhere to be, so our bottomless brunch lasted for hours.  We caught up with friends and even started planning our upcoming vacation to Greece.  (Let me know if you have any traveling tips!)  After we ate, we strolled the streets and wandered in a few flea markets.

I wore my latest purchase from Gilt Groupe, a lace Miguelina skirt, for the occasion.  My favorite thing about lace is the endless styling possibilities.  Lace can be sexy or sweet, formal or casual, trendy or classic.  I chose the casual and maybe even a little sweet route. The texture of the lace mixed with the denim shirt and leopard flats made for an unexpected perfect match!
