My husband is in his second year of Columbia’s MBA program and sometimes I find myself wondering what life would be like if I were a student again as well. I imagine myself at the campus coffee shop in the morning, reading case studies in the park in the afternoon, and dressing like Blair Waldorf for class, of course.
I love this outfit because everything is so timelessly chic. The leather skirt is from the Tommy Hilfiger outlet almost 10 years ago. Seriously. I was in high school when I picked this skirt out for my mom (always the family stylist) and last time I was home, I snagged it for myself. The blouse stood out on the post holiday Banana Republic sale racks for it’s Chanel-esque black and white details. Add my two-tone Chanel pumps and a Fendi book-bag handbag to the mix, and the whole outfit looks worthy for the set of Gossip Girl.

This is a gorgeous look, definitely timelessly chic! I am in love with the blouse and those shoes. Also can’t believe you’ve had the skirt for that long. Some things never go out of style!
Thanks Amber!
BEAUTIFUL!!! you look amazing. 🙂
So very Blair Waldorf. I think Leighton would definitely approve. As would Charlotte York 😉 xx Taylor
Good call, I do love Charlotte as well!
Blair approved outfit, for sure! Loving that blouse, found a similar one at Zara, but paired with the leather pencil skirt, it is a perfect match! Great outfit!

Thanks Samantha! I am sure the Zara one is super cute!
Very Blair – first thing I thought of when I saw this outfit! 🙂
And now I am coveting a pair of Chanel heels. Thank you very much.
Thanks Kristine! Stalk them at Neiman Marcus during there Last Call sale like I did. 🙂
Amazing B&W outfit. Kisses from Brazil ~.~

I have always been drawn to classic, chic look like this. Love the blair-esqe quality!
I think I might need a leather pencil skirt! This is lovely! I love the ‘Chanel-esque’ blouse as well.
HHMMM! I think I may want this back! Of course with all the accessories! You look fabulous dear!
I absolutely love this look! I love color, but I feel my best when I am wearing a black/white combo. There is something so classic and elegant about that color scheme with a hint of pearls! The oversized handbag is amazing!
No idea that your hubby is doing his MBA at Columbia! That’s my top choice for sure. And I love your look! That blouse was a best seller…
GORGEOUS! you are such a beauty! love everything about this outfit…and your hair…and the glasses.
xoxo, jenn
This is absolutely gorgeous! So great meeting you – you’re a doll!
