I took a quick day trip to LA this week for a meeting and the weather was so perfect, even for a long sleeve maxi!

I was planning to be in LA Monday through Wednesday of this week, but something came up with the boys so I reschedule my return flight for the last flight out on Monday night. Which means I landed in LA Monday morning, went to a meeting with Facebook / Instagram and went back to LAX all in the same day. I don’t think I have ever gone somewhere for such a short period of time, but I squeezed a lot in! Ashley was on my flight so we got to catch up in transit, I met with my manager at DBA and then had a meeting with Facebook / Instagram. Mara was at the meeting too so she gave me a ride to her house to say a quick hi to Matthew and Augustine before heading to the airport (luckily she lives right by LAX)! I was back on a flight to Houston by 8pm and home around 1am.
We actually shot these images on a fun little road trip to Galveston (just an hour south of Houston), but I planned to pack it for my trip out west. This long sleeves maxi dress would have been perfect for a breezy coastal night and can we talk about the price tag on this baby?! Seriously, y’all. It. is. under. $20! It isn’t the most expensive feeling dress, but for $20 even if it only last for one wear, I’ll take it! (For the record, it is holding up perfectly fine so far after two wears! And I get so many compliments on it every time!)
