I am sorry for dragging out the pictures from our trip to California. With our weekend travels, it seems I haven’t had a moment to catch up with blog post!
My favorite vineyards are the ones where you can sip outside and take in the views of the rolling hills and fresh air. This was our view at our first stop in Napa, Mumm Napa.
I wore this stripe dress on Saturday. It is the perfect base layer for the changing temperatures in the valley. My quilted vest was the only layer I needed during the afternoon, and I even had to shed it a few times when we were sitting in the sun. I love how a vest can change a look of an outfit!
spring blooms and more of the scene at Mumm Napa!
Reunited with some of my favorite Texas ladies! xo
V.Sattui Winery is the perfect spot to stop for a picnic lunch – no need to pack a bag, you can buy everything you need there!
I recommend trying the tri-tip sandwich!
After lunch, we headed up to Spring Mountain to the Schweiger Vineyards. It is such a beautiful drive and the views when you get to the top are stunning!
I layered on this red sweater and denim jacket to keep me warm in the cooler climate. It made for the perfect outfit for the evening temperatures, as well.
Our last stop was dinner at Ad Hoc (a Thomas Keller restaurant), a delicious and fun dinner spot in Napa . I didn’t get any pictures at dinner, but I did snap this picture of the beautiful tulips on our walk to the restaurant.
Other favorites I have visited on past trips that are definitely worth mentioning are: The Rubicon Estate (I think it has since been renamed Inglenook), Round Pound, Frog’s Leap, + Domain Carneros (sparking wine). And, vineyards I haven’t been too, but are on the top of my list for our next trip are Cake Bread + Pride!
What are your favorite things to do in the area? I would love more recommendations in the comments below!
The food and wine look so yummy!
This looks like such a blast Caroline! I love the pink puffer vest over your chic striped dress. Hope you had fun in Napa!
