I can’t believe it, but Knox is 21 months!  It’s really crazy how time flies!  As he grows from the baby phase to the toddler phase, our needs for things change, as well.  I picked out a few new products to test from Munchkin and we love their sleek look and functionality!  Here are our favorites right now…

For meal time, we are loving the white hot plate!  It is so neat, it changes colors when the plate is hot so Knox knows to be careful with his food.  Why is it the cutest thing when they blow on their own food to cool it off?  I don’t know, but it gets me every time!

Another cool plate is the lil apple shape with different compartments.  Knox is a big fan of ‘dip!’ which can be anything from syrup to ketchup.  He either already has a major sweet tooth and needs to put sugar on everything or he just enjoys the act of dipping his food.  I love this plate for meals that include dip, sauce or anything else that you wouldn’t want touching everything else on their plate.

Knox thinks he is too big for sippy cups these days so I have transitioned him to the Miracle 360 cup.  It is so neat because the top has tiny holes all over it where it lets a little liquid out as they learn to tilt the cup up. It’s a great step before jumping all the way into a regular cup.

The baby gate may be more of a mom favorite than a Knox favorite, but I recently discovered this gem.  I selected the dark wood option on the Auto Close Designer Gate to match his bedroom furniture.  I love that it isn’t a sight for sore eyes (like so many of them).  This is perfect for when you need to fold clothes or start dinner, but you don’t want to sit your child in front of a tv. I put Knox in our play area or his room with his favorite toys and puzzle to play with while I knock out a chore.  I also think this will be great when we transition from the baby bed to the big boy bed so he won’t be sneaking out of his room. ๐Ÿ™‚

For Knox, bath time also equals playtime.  I don’t think there is anything he loves more than ‘bubble bath’!  His bath toys were beginning to take over the bathroom so I was so happy when we discovered this cute Secure Grip Bath Caddy.  I like it because he can spread all his toys out and he can really see what is in there.  I also love that it slides from one end of the bathtub to another so we can move it depending on our need.  As you can see, Knox loves to line all his animals up along the edge of the bathtub (carefully placing them facing outwards).  It is so cute, he labels them all as he goes… “airplane, boat, gator, etc.”

Last, but certainly not least is the Dots Bath Mat.  It keeps Knox from slipping on the bath floor, but it is also a fun way to work on our colors.  Knox recently got his colors down and he loves pointing them out everywhere we go.  “Momma, piiinnkk!”
