As another New York Fashion Week comes to an end, we are recapping a few Spring 2018 trends that we’ve gathered from the ready-to-wear shows (one of the fantastic perks of social media – front row access without having to leave home!).
Thinking about our spring wardrobes feels a bit daunting considering we are just now reorganizing our closets for fall, but there are a handful of trends that we are excited to start shopping and wearing now. Take a look at our five fashion week trend highlights below and shop the looks!
Suiting
We love both oversized and structured blazers and are excited to see that suiting is sticking around for spring. Good news: if you invest in a blazer now you can wear it with jeans this fall, and then pair it with a skirt or flowy dress during the spring months. We fully support a staple piece that you can wear year round!

Lavender
Lavender shades were all over the runways this past week and we are super excited to flaunt the feminine color all spring. The pastel hue also pairs nicely with grey and black making it the perfect color for lightening up your fall and winter wardrobes.

Trenches
Many designers included trenches in their Spring 2018 RTR looks, and we are excited that this classic is getting a fresh makeover. Layering a trench over outfits is one of our favorite ways to feel pulled together — it can easily make a simple tee paired with denim look sophisticated.

White on White
Not wearing white after Labor Day is old news, and now designers are embracing white on white year round. It’s no surprise that this trend is back for spring, but we also plan to wear it this season with winter whites (think cozy fisherman sweaters, white denim, cream coats, etc).

Bright Pink
We’ve seen a lot of “millennial pink” this year, but Spring 2018 is suggesting a hot pink shade instead. A key takeaway from the runway shows this week is to not shy away from bright, attention-grabbing colors. Fine by us!
