SOMETHING NAVY

We made it to Wednesday, barely!  ha!  Sorry for the lack of post this week, we are so busy with holiday content, sick kiddos and dad being out-of-town that I haven’t had much time for regular programing and social media.  Is it just me or will some down time with the family next weekend be just what you need?!

I LOVE Thanksgiving!  It has always been a huge holiday for our family with all our cousins, my grandmother’s amazing cooking and a lot of casual and fun quality time.  I am so excited to continue family traditions like these for our kids and I love talking to Knox about them now that he is old enough to understand.  He keeps asking when we are going to Papaw’s to see his cousins (except he has to name them A L L out)!

I’m sure I sound like a broken record by now, but I am still transitioning seasons with easy dresses and open toe booties.  Although we have had some beautiful 70 degree days and 60 degree evenings, I still get hot in the sun so I regret leaving the house in much more than these light layers.  I miss living in NYC this time of year when I could actually wear all the fun fall clothes and shoot different seasonal outfits.  You know for those few months before you are miserably trying to look like you aren’t freezing in all of your pictures in January – April!  ha! In those months, I couldn’t be more grateful to live in Houston. 😉
