We are experiencing another bit of cold weather in Houston, just in time for Spring Break. I guess it is better than the snow storm in NYC, but I hope all our spring flowers we just planted survive!

I always joke that my trench coat became my ‘winter coat’ when we moved to Houston. It is usually the only coat I need year around here, but no matter where you live it is such a great staple this time of year (and the fall, too)! In fact, this whole outfit is made up of some of my favorite wardrobe staples that are perfect for spring! To see my complete wardrobe essential list check out the full post here. Plus, you can see how I styled my basics last spring here.

love this outfit! totally random question (that you may have answered before – sorry!) :
is your belt bag the “small” size (aka not the mini) that comes without a shoulder strap? I’m debating the sizes for an everyday bag. yours looks great on you!
Hi Laura,
I don’t think I have answered it! Mine came with the shoulder strap, but I don’t use it much as it feels awkward. My mom has the mini, I believe, and uses it all the time. I guess that makes mine the small?
Hope this helps!
