When working in the fashion industry, a basic black suit just won’t cut it. I love finding jackets in interesting textures (especially tweed!) and pairing it back to these coated black skinnies. (If the pants aren’t work appropriate at your office, you could substitute for a classic black pant.) Believe it or not, this jacket is another Forever21 find (similar to the last two seen here & here). Apparently, I have started a little collection!
I’d love to hear, what do you wear to work to stay stylish and work appropriate?

Love how you took classic pieces and updated them ever so slightly to make this look modern. The pop of blue with your clutch is just perfect!

This reminds me of an outfit you’d see on The Devil Wears Prada. Black + white = classically chic.

I love this outfit. I am always looking for trendy pieces to throw into the mix to wear to my somewhat conservative workplace (I’m an attorney). I like to wear a classic pant and/or dress and throw on a tweed blazer or a boyfriend blazer of some type. Printed blouses also jazz up a normally boring pencil skirt or slacks.
Love all your suggestions! Thanks for sharing!
Great look, and love the monogrammed clutch! To inject fashion into workwear, I always try to bring in bright colors or bold patterns. Fun shoes are also a great way to style up a work look.
